On a Docker host with Docker Compose:
mkdir -p /opt/paperless-ngx && cd /opt/paperless-ngx
curl -fsSL https://iac.heyer.systems/paperless-ngx/docker-compose.yml -o docker-compose.yml
docker compose up -dView docker-compose.yml – settings go into a .env next to it.
Customise the commandYour own values for CPU, RAM, network and modules – no dialog
Then: Web: http://<IP>:8000/ – login: admin, password in the guest: grep paperless_admin_password /etc/iac/settings.env
Generator pick your settings, copy the command

Update
In the guest (LXC/VM):
updateDebian packages, Paperless-ngx, modules and the iac configuration. Major versions never change automatically.
Add modules – any time, in containers and VMs alike:
update --list-modules
update --add-modules node-exporterAll modules · More about update
With Docker, in the directory of the docker-compose.yml:
